Having difficulty viewing course information or printing?
Are we able to print slides from the slide show? If so how is it done?

All of the courses have images of the slides included as part of the course notes transcript.  If you want a larger image, you can also try to capture the slide as it appears during the video with a screen capture app.

 

I am unable to open the PDF of the student resources. It opens as a black page. We have tried to correct this by downloading the updated version of Adobe and restarting my computer has not helped.

I can only print page 1 of the student resources notes. How do I print other pages?

This problem is related to the PDF reader plug-in of your browser and is generally limited to devices running iOS (Such as iPads).  It can also be related to the Javascript function not being activated in the browser.
Please refer these configuration requirements for details.
It is recommended that you use iBooks to save your PDF's if you are using an iOS device. (iPad/iPhone)

 

I can only see a black screen where the video should be, nothing else. What is wrong?

The device you are using does not have the correct set-up/plug-ins to view HTML5 based media. Visit this linkto check your settings.

 

I can see the documents in the student resources folder, but there appears to be no facility to save them, just open them up. What is wrong?

You may not have a full version of Acrobat reader, or the tool bar is hidden. Try the right click mouse function where there will be a save/print option.

 

I made the mistake of not printing out all of the course notes as I went, and now need them again. How do I find them?

If you have missed a particular document, you will need to go back to the appropriate student notes or resources link and download again. 

 

Some of the student notes and forms I need don’t appear to be in the student resources folder on-line. How can I get them?

The notes and forms you need were available in an earlier unit of learning. It is best practice to print off each set and put them in a folder as you go because you refer to them many times during the course. If you have missed a particular document, you will need to go back to the appropriate student notes link and download again. 

 

The presentation video will not load- there is just a spinning symbol on screen. What is wrong?

This is unusual, however these are the most common reasons this is occuring:
1. There is an issue with your internet connection speed.
2. Your browser plug-ins are out of date. (Please check your requirements here)
3. Javascript is not correctly enabled. (Please check your settings here)
4. Your browser cache needs to be cleared. (Instructions are here)

 

The student resources course notes are not there when you click on the link. Please advise how I can get these.
